Well here it is, first build. Nothing fancy, but just what I wanted.

Will be going to the range tomorrow to try it out.

And the addiction begins!!!!!!!!

FYI: You will find that you get great pricing on stripped receivers when you order/buy them by the handful instead of one at a time

Just don’t ask us how we now this since we keep them stashed in the bottom of the safe, and when the wife asks about the complete new rifle we have in your hands, we just replay, not its the same one I have last month, I just change this part on it (while pointing to the shiniest part, and trying to keep a straight face).

Hell, even if we get caught in the lie, all we need to do is point at their every growing shoe collection overtaking our side of the closet, which gets us off the hook for at least that build.

Thanks Dano,

I am pretty lucky though, my wife doesn't really care about this stuff. I just got finished with this and have not even taken it out, but I am already plannning another. I told that to the wife last night and her response was, "OK".

Another victum falls to BRD.      Repeat after me "Hello my name is__________, I have a black rifle problem.

But if they are in camo is it still BRD? Since they arent a black rifle any more, it cant be BRD, which means I'm ok, right?

All kidding a side nice rifle, well done.

Simplicity works best for me, so I dig your rifle... I won't lie of course, I enjoy the sight of those fancy "tacticool" AR's, but for my use, a simple build is more than comforting.

Thanks guys, sorry for the delay in posting a reply. I thought I would wrap up the spec with a range report, since I took it out this morning.

The lower is LCW, LMT 16" Upper, LMT Tube and H-Buffer, VLTOR stock.

The trip to the range was good. Zeroing didn't tak to long and went through ~250 rounds. I used a mix of WWB, Black Hills and even Wolf. I am very happy to say, there were zero problems. Everything worked flawless. I really like this rifle. I took my father with me and he fell in love with it too. I  think he is intending to build one himself now.

So to sum up a great trip to the range and the EBR disease has been transmitted to another. Now I have to take my brother, so he can be infected too
