Building a new AR and I can't decide if I should go with od or cb for my Magpul options like the stock and pistol grip. What do you guys think.

If you want to blend in your desert area go with brown.

I went brown with one of my three rifles.

Brown matches more environments. It is at home in the desert, and only slightly out of place in the woods. Green is less versatile.

However, I can't understand the point of colored plastic on a black weapon. When I finally get a rifle in one configuration and leave it, I will paint it in various shades of brown and leave it.

Absolutely love it, and I don't usually like popular stuff for some reason.

I have the largest backstrap on it and it lines my finger up well for the trigger.

I wasn't sold on the Magpul trigger guard, so I never bought one separately, but when the Magpul grip came I had the standard trigger guard, Gapper, front strap, grip, and back strap.

I decided to put the one piece front strap/trigger guard on it to cut down on the parts involved.

Overall, it's about the best money I've spent on comfort (i.e. stocks, handguards, etc.)
