I know that I'm going to find out the answer to this question soon enough, but here goes: Do you need a roll pin starter punch to get this tiny roll pin started into the FSB? I'll probably be going into my re-barreling project without one, but if I'll wind up needing to order one, I'd like to get my order in sooner rather than later. I've never tried installing this roll-pin before, so if there's any helpful advice from anyone who's done it, I'm all ears. P.S.- Do you even need a roll pin punch to begin with? |
I made a starter punch from a small section of an aluminum cleaning rod I had laying around , made it 2" long , and drilled a hole in the end of it,just slightly larger than the small gas key , about 3/16" deep , it works alot better than using a pair of plier's to start them
