HotIce The wait for a DPMS 24" 308LR is worth it. I finally got mine. Since your going to have to wait get a few extra things done. I had my barrel fluted, teflon coated and cryo'ed and a railed gas block put on and they have a decent choice of aftermarket drop in trigger jobs. Email DPMS and they do all that for you very reasonable. During the wait you can pick out / save for a scope. Extremely accurate. Heavy though. I'm thinking about ordering one of their 308 AP4. 300 rounds and no malfunctions Yippee. 500 yrds grp of 1 3/4" The gun is way more accurate than me. . http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v334/mototard/000_0151.jpg |

mototard1, I placed an order for a DPMS Panther 24" about more than a month ago I just wanted something sooner to fill the gap IMO the quality/price ratio of the DPMS Panther line is hardly beateable, with competitors asking about double for less quality rifles. If they only could crank more of them ![]() BTW, I saw BushMaster discontinued the .308 serie becasue of lack of demand. - Ice |
