[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Cut A2 Stock??

I have a 16in. HBAR "post ban" Bushy with an A2 stock that I like a lot, but like everybody else, the A2 is just a little long (even more so now that I put a DD Burnsed loop in hould
Speaking of the butt plate, I know it will now be too big, but the one I have is plastic (w/ door) and I think I could grind/sand it down to fit just like a recoil pad.

I know there are collapsible stocks out there, but $$$ that I don't have. And I really like the A2 style. Plus, I'd like to keep the rifle length buffer & tube.

Any ideas against this project??

you may want to put it up for trade for an a1 stock, then you can keep your buffer and spring. or get a cheap ($30) collapsible stock from tapco or sportsmans guide.

Cavalry Arms C1 stock is A1 length

And 'cause you were not even aware of the A1 stock, I'd be remiss not to tell you that the spacer at the end of the receiver extension is not needed in the A1 stock.

Last I checked they dropped the price $30 on the Colt SP1 upper and no more free stock, maybe they weren't that free after all.
