Im building my first AR.  Have a RRA lower and upper and I'm looking to install a good trigger.  I have been shooting turn bolts for a long time and done alot of work to my custom rifles myself, including Jewell triggers in all of my 700 type actions.  I'm my opinion there are two types of triggers, Jewell and everyone else.  Now that I have said that I was wondering about the AR Jewell.  Is it a rock solid trigger or very touchy when it comes to reliabilty?  My two choices in triggers are of course the Jewell or a RRA national match, I just hate the idea of a 4.5 # trigger pull so I'm leaning toward the Jewell.

I want to build a great lower that will accept multiple uppers, like a CAR(m4) and also a Varmint rig, thats why I want an adjustable trigger, light for target work and medium for an m4 upper.

Thanx

The jewell is awesome for target work.   I would NOT put it in a M4 defensive carbine.

Stick with the stock trigger, or the RRA NM.  IMHO.
