Ok, I have yet to order the first part and I'm already doing what I said I wouldn't, keeping it simple. So far I've got:

Stag Arms stripped lower
RRA LPK, standard trigger
RRA M4 6-Position stock
Magpul trigger guard

Now, I'm hung up on what grip I want. The three I've come up with are a Hogue rubber grip, First Samco G-27, and a TangoDown BattleGrip. Overall I like the look of the Samco grip, alot. I want the grip that provides the best control, any suggestions? Also, I'm still undecided on green or black furniture, if anyone has some good photos with the green, do you mind to post them?

I like the feel of the hogue, never tried the tango down, but plan to purchase one soon.

The only thing I dont like about my hogue is the lack of storage.  I am thinking of trading it for a tango down.

Magpul. Make the grip fit your hand not the other way around. BSW

So many grips to choose from. Maybe I should just build a rifle for each

A G27 made out of the stuff the Hogue grips are made from would be nirvana.  I have 3 of each, and one SPR grip.  The SPR is nice, but if you have small hands, it might feel a little fat.  I've also used the "Panther" grip--the PSG type grip, but keep taking it off...to me, it looks a little pretentious, I guess.

Try to find a big gun store with plenty of grips and try them on first before you buy.

You could also see if your friends or guys at the range will let you try theirs.

I prefer grips without finger grooves on my carbines that's why I have Magpul MIAD, Tango Down Battlegrip, Les Baer (similar to A1) and a spare A1 grips.

I'm planning on getting a grip with finger grooves or a target type grip for my future target rifle project.
