Can they be easily removed if I want to change the FH, or is it a big drawn out complicated process?

It usually consists of taking a hand grinder and grinding down the weld. Not a big deal if you have a hand grinder.

Would a 30000 rpm Dremel do the job?

Oh yea. I like to use a magnet also to help fish it out once the weld is broken.
