Im confused.

Which moly resin is the closest match to the M16A1 uppers available? I guess the sandstrom 9A color.

Is it the grayish-black, or the gray flat? Norrells website say that the grayish-black is the colt color. But also says that the gray flat matches the very early M16s. The word very is confusing me.

I use the grayish-black. It works out quite well. Here is a picture that should show the differnce between my refinished (Norrells grayish-black) upper, and the stock new Mega lower. There is a bit of glare off the lighting, but I hope it still helps. I have the gray flat, and that is a little lighter.

Also thanks to your write ups I am going to moly resin a Superior Lower to match (or at least get closer) to a A1 surplus upper. I would never venture into this without all your info.

Im getting tired of waiting on the A1 lowers to be made.
