Hello everyone it has been awhile sense I have made anything on these forums since i built my J&T 20 inch post ban two years ago. I just bought a beretta 92fs olive drab 9mm and i thought it would look good with a m4 style rifle. I have decided to go with the J&T AR-15 DS-4 Kit with a DSC lowers because the kit mostly resembles the m-4. I do have a couple of questions though I am going to use the rifle as a target and plinker around the property i am looking for a good inexspensive scope that mounts on top of the handle i have looked at cheaperthandirt and they have a few with monts what do you think? I used to get a catolog from a place called "calico" i think but i am not shure on the name I am trying to find there website? i thought about getting the kit with the detachable hadle but im not shure yet. well tell me what you think and if you have any tips let me know. |

+1 on a flat top receiver and I would additionally recommend flip-up back-up iron sight like ARMS or something similar. A lot of members here, including myself are using the Hakko TacPoint dot sight with mount at only $88 to about $100 and are available at the Equipment Exchange section of this site.
