I currently own a straight pull AR15 in the UK that has to be recocked for each shot (stupid british firearms laws) and wouldnt mind getting hold of parts from the USA such as the CavArms lower. By parts i obviously dont mean gas parts or bolt keys but you guys do have some pretty neat adaptions for the AR15. Now, my question is how hard is it going to be to import stuff into the UK from the USA

Check with a few of the USA suppliers to make sure that they have a export liscense.
From there, they can tell you what they can ship you or not.

The usa dialing code is 001, then the phone number with the area code (00-1-480-833-9685 if Cav arms) to reach them over the phone, or just drop them a e-mail with your questions.

The only thing that is restricted here is the lower receiver.  Everything else is as exciting as going to the hardware store and buying a new saw blade.

Your best bet would be to have friends in the states, or to visit over here yourself.

I can just see it now,
A Bobby with both hands up your bung, as you try to bring firearm parts threw UK customs undeclared.

Personally, nothing really randy about it, but to each his own.
Cheers

Check with your Government first, then contact ours.

Here we have to do an ATF Form 6 to import.
