I was wondering how long are midlength handguards ?

YHM has their midlength free floats listed as 9.2 inches.

That probably includes the barrel nut. For regular plastic handguards, the barrel nut and delta ring assembly is about an inch long.

RRA handguards 8.75 in, with delta ring installed 9in. All measured parts off gun, add for HG cap. Waiting on a bbl that I probably wont be able to use these on due to manufacturing problem.
