[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Mega + LMT?

I finished building a Mega lower, and just ordered a LMT M4 upper! Thanks to all the advice from all the friendly folks on this site, I am positive I am getting quality stuff, but I was wondering if any has seen these componets with each other?? My Mega has an awesome deep black finish, will the LMT color match?? Thanks ,Fisty h.gif

I cant believe no one has ever seen a Mega lower near a LMT upper!! Come on, dosent someone have access to these products that they can check for a match??

If you give me a couple of hours I'll drag out my Mega build and one of my LMTs and put an LMT upper on my Mega lower and take a couple photos for you. I gotta get the kids bathed and in bed first so stand by.

The Mega and LMT will not color match. The LMT is anodized balck, but it's a matte black almost identical to a Colt. The Mega has a teflon coating that is both darker and has a different 'texture'.

I, too, am interested as I believe my build will involve a Mega lower and LMT upper.

I think it looks just fine. Both pieces are dark and look great when oiled.

Hell yea!! That looks great! I really like the green Mega logo. What did you use?? Thats exactly what I orderd, LMT 16" M4 from brovo company. I think they sent me a cmt bolt and carrier though.hich

Why do you think they sent you a CMT bolt and carrier?

I just used testors Model paint and filled in teh marks. Then I put paint thinner on a rag and wiped the surface clean leaving the marks clean and nice.

MEGA is very black like LMT, CMT, STAG, RRA. It will match pretty well with all these uppers. Or build an upper using a stripped MEGA upper.
