[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Bolt will not lock back

Just finished my first build. RRA Car flat top upper with Stag lower and RRA parts. Finally got everything together and when I try and lock my bolt back it will not. Even with a empty mag in the well. If I pull down on the paddle it will lock. Should I put another Bolt release in. I dont see anything wrong and can just be a hair off, any ideas

Have you tried a new mag? Is the mag seated fully / properly? Check your mag release... if you're not locked in fully this can happen (as I've found out)

Yes mag is seated. Also with mag out when I push in the nipple it will not latch the bolt back. Tryed a different lower and it works fine

You probably have the same problem as I have on one of mine. The bolt catch is binding. It may be either an out of spec lower, bolt catch or the rollpin is too tight.
