My CAR buffer for my first AR just arrived. It sounds like there's a weight or something that's rattling around inside it. Is this normal? Thanks in advance.

Normal... the rattle is the weights inside the buffer sliding back and forth. The weights work like a dead blow hammer... enjoy the new AR...
