WINGMAN, GREAT AR NEED MORE DETAILS WHICH KIT, BARREL LENGTH, TYPE OF SCOPE AND RINGS YOU SAID THE GAS BLOCK CAME WITH IT BUT IN JT WEB SITE I DIDNOT SEE THIS GAS BLOCK WHY DID YOU USE THE RISER VS GOING WITH THE HI-RISE MODEL I THING THIS MAYBE THE ONE FOR ME MINUS THE SCOPE. IT LOOKS LIKE IT COST THE SAME AS YOUR GREAT AR |

I went with the J&P Reduced Power Spring Kit, you polish the contact surfaces a bit and it yields a pretty decent trigger pull, I will probably switch over to a J&P trigger kit in the future. The J&T Kit is the 24" Bull Barrel Kit, 1 in 8 twist, the gas block is the standard block for that kit, Bushmaster riser with Weaver 4x4 rings holding a Bushnell Legend 5-15X. The Bushnell Legend 5-15X scope is available for around $200, the Legend series is right below the Elite series, it's a pretty good scope. I probably should have gotten the high rise upper, but I think this looks a little better. You can also get the Bushmaster scope mount which is the riser and rings in one piece, I got the riser because I already had some rings to use. |
| Yikes! I just found out looking on here that M&A is part of the old Nesard/Sun Valley line of crap. I screwed up 13 years ago and bought a kit from nesard and then a couple years later bought more junk from Sun Valley. Maybe M&A stuff is ok. The kit I did for my Dad was all good stuff and it shoots good. I'll still stick with RB, ADCO, WOA etc for my own stuff. |
