While I know the advantages of FF a barrel for accuracy, is there any real advantage to FF a 16' HBAR for a tactical home defense AR????  Close range....

No advantage at all for home defense and close range shooting.

Having said that, the carbine I keep for the same purposes is FF'd and shoots 0.8" with match ammo through a 16" CL barrel.
