I am going to build a complete ar15.  I want to go with a bushy lower and rra upper.  I would like to go with a 20-24" barrel.  I will have to buy and action block and mulit tool.  Am I going to be able to build an upper for cheaper than just buying one if I have to buy the action block and tool?  If so which tool should I get and block?  (of course I'm looking for the cheapest but best bang for my buck).  

What are your barrel recommendations and from who...again best bang for buck I'm on a budget.

If it's "Bang for the BucK" (meaning best price / hassle ratio) Get a  stag lower and J&T Kit.  I got 3 stags from eaglefirearms.net this past week (just before the out of stock text went up) and the finish is better than my bushmasters.

also, recommend MEGA lowers (carricozarmory.com, if they got some) and a kit from JTD or del-ton

chrome lined bbl, 5.56 chambering flatop

upper will be assemblem, so all you will need are simple tools and an armory tool (dpms works nice)

Another +1 for the Mega lowers

I've put J&T and RRA uppers on them - I found the J&T stuff to be just as nice as the RRA, but you may be able to get the RRA cheaper if you check out Adco's or RBPrecision. All three are great to deal with IMO.

where can i get a mag block and multi tool at the same place for cheap?  Who makes Jt barrels.  I really want to go with a rra upper.  The rest of the parts yankee or woa.
