| I just got a new tac latch, how the heck do I remove the origional one???? I looked in the upper build area, found nothing, can anyone provide me with some info and or HELP! |

search but all i did was knock out the roll pin but be careful for the spring when you remove the punch. then hold new one in place with spring in the charging handle then hit the rool pin back in. there was a good thread about it to too long ago so search for it |
Same thing I did. When punching old roll pin and re-placing make sure the charging handle is well supported so it does not get bent. |
| Yeah I installed a Tac Latch on my AR. I used a nail as a punch and a hammer. And then just put it back. It was a tricky to line up the holes with the spring pushing on the latch. I used another small pin to keep the holes lined up and just punched the roll pin though in place. And be sure to use something to protect the finish on you charging handle. And yeah i agree with using a table or something to support the handle. |
