So I am planning to build a M4A1 with this configuration and I need expert's advices.

-80% forged receiver
-Colt M16 fire control parts
-Bushmaster bolt & bolt carrier
-Bushmaster M4 14,5" barrel
-Upper receiver A3 type...Bushmaster, Oly, CMMG or Armalite ?
-RRA 6 positions telestock
-for the forward assist, round or teardrop ? I believe the round type is the current US Military issue.
-Bushmaster removable carrying handle
-7x USGI 30 rounds magazine.

Why select fire ? it isn't more expensive than a semi auto and...it is the same licence.

Gabriel,

Do you have everything you need to complete the 80% forging?  I know your import laws are different, so I am wondering if it wouldn't be easier to get a finished lower and mill the select fire portion out instead...

I would go with a Colt Bolt, as it is probably the best available.

Most A3 uppers are all the same, any differences are mainly in the color/ shade of the anodizing.

The round FA is what is used mainly, as the tear drop catches on things when held against your body.

You might want to consider a backup iron sight instead of the Carry Handle if you plan on getting an optic later on.

Here is a picture of my duty carbine(s), I think it is close to what you were going for.

I agree with you...buying a lower in Germany would be probably cheapest.

Colt bolt ? is there a problem with the Bushmaster ? The round forward assist is my favorite too.

Your carbine look great ! Can you give me some info about accuracy ? Thanks !
