Hey, can anyone give me an idea as to where I could puchase a 1/2"X28 die. Brownells = out of stock, Midway search= whats a thread die. Those are my recources?? Help

There was just a thread about this referencing a tool supplier.

They list a round thread die 1-1/2 inch dia, 1/2X28 for less than 20 bucks.

Don't forget you'll need a die stock or other holder to use that type of die. It might be better to pay someone to lathe turn your barrel threads. Much easier to get a straight job that way.
