Has anyone ordered a kit from Model 1 Sales, Inc.?  They have a 16" M-4 Car kit minus stripped lower receiver for $490.  It has an A2 flashhider and chrome lined barrel.  Just wondering the quality of the firearm.  I'm sure you get what you pay for but it seemed like a good deal to me.  Also newbie question herehinking.gif, only thing needed to make this rifle complete would be a lower parts kit from say RRA for $58???  Thanks

If you ordered a kit, it normally includes the lower parts, should have everything you need except the stripped lower receiver, and the tools needed for assembling the lower.

Yeah, you won't need a LPK, it comes with the kit.

do a search for m1s

most folks here have had good and bad expeirences w/ m1s

most recommend JTD over m1s

I'd say J&T also.

I have built some Model 1 kits. They are a good value, but if you shoot alot, the parts in them will likely fail prematurly from my experiences so far.

I bought a kit from m1s last year, and I have put 3500rds through it with no problems yet.  I did switch out the buffer spring about half way through, and have noticed that the parts are slightly softer than other builds I've done (DPMS, Bushmaster, Colt, RRA).  The barrel was great quality, very accurate, and the finish matched my bushy barrels well.  overall I've had a good experience with them.  Im yet to do a J&T rifle yet.
