Ok it has been a while since I used Duracoat and I can't remember what is the mix ratio to make the Duracoat appear "flatter" is it 11 to 1 or 14 to 1?

Also has anyone used the new WWII OD green vice the regular OD green? If so what is the difference?

Flat finish is 14 to 1.
Slight shine is 10 to 1.
I have only used the regular O.D., didn't know about the WWII green, but if it runs true, it's probably a little more mossy colored..

It's all in the mix. I have found that CC gradiated syringes work well for getting your ratio right. After that the stuff is as easy as any other coating to apply and the fact that it will cure in an oven at 120 degrees is very cool.

Or just use Norrells and preheat the surface....

If it's fresh you can take it off with Laquer Thinner or if it's been less than 3 days you can paint over it. I have sent E-Mails to Paul at M1 Tactical and he always responds with godd advice.

his E-Mail is [email protected]

Out.
