after i get my barrel threaded do i just screw the vortex on? will it shoot loose? do i need to weld it on or what? the answer used to be so simple. you can't do any of that

If you have a 14.5 inch barrel that is not on a papered Title 2 gun, it needs to be welded, otherwise screw it on tight, and shooting will tighten it more.

I do wish that there were no flats on the sides of the vortex. Although it doesn't need to be timed, it looks bad with the flats at odd angles. Would have looked nicer to just be round. It's not like you need the flats to get it on or off.
