Please point me to a thread or FAQ that will tell me all I need to know to build an SPR. In the spirit of firearms ownership, I know next to nothing about the rifle, but have decided to annoy my wife by making an SPR my next build. Any help/advice would be appreciated. Thanks. |

Take a look at MSTN, Excalibur Arms, ADCO just to name a few. Look around the "AR15 parts-New" as I said before and there has got to be at least a dozen posts on there relating to SPR build-ups and parts. Everything you could possibly want or need is there, you just have to look. Take a look at the "used" parts section as well, there are a bunch of guys who have bought items during the early stages of various builds and changed their minds about what they want or need. They then sell these parts/items, some brand-new and in the original packaging, on the board at prices usually substantially less than MSRP. I have not personally been burned while purchasing stuff on the EE forum...having said that, however, "buyer beware". Good luck. We've led you to the water, it's up to you to drink.
