Just to let everyone know, I just tried to order an armorer's wrench from DPMS and they told me that they are going to be out "for quite a while" as all the wrenches are out of spec - the barrel nut lugs are not spaced properly.  They couldn't give me any more info than "quite a while as in weeks"-Matt

Why not get the regular GI barrel wrench (BM sells it for around $10)?  It's heavier (sturdier) than it looks in the catalog picture.  I guess if you are going to make a habbit to removing barrels from uppers, then the super duper deluxe wrench is better.

Is the Multi wrench in CheaperThanDirt the same as DPMS? I know that they sell DPMS uppers so I would assume so...

Just got a DPMS armorers wrench which had all the openings except for the square hole in the middle which is for the torque wrench.  Is this a new model or an old one?  Its bnew and has the DPMS logo molded on the handle.

Thanks.

I have the DPMS and the Yankee Hill.  For float tubes and jam nuts, the YHM is the shizzle...it's got 3 prongs, and a spot that goes onto the jam nut.  It's the one I use the most now.

My DPMS has the little "nipples" or whatever they're called.  Are those for the Free Flat tubes?

I think so, I had recently used my DPMS tool to attach my DD handguards barrel nut with those tabs,  the reverse side is for the regular barrel nut.  Mine fit okay, ordered it somewhere around 2 months ago.
