Just completed my 3rd AR build.
J&T 16" M4gery/Eagle Arms Lower

Assembly went real smooth..no problems at all getting the parts to fit.  Initial function test went smooth as silk.  Inserted a mag and then the problem started.

With a mag inserted (it goes in ok) the bolt gets hung up when pulling back on the charging handle.

My trouble shooting efforts:

1.  tried a known good mag....same prob
2.  tried a known good bolt...same prob
3.  switched the upper with a known good fully assembled upper...works like a champ.
4.  switched the lower with a known good fully assembled lower...works like a champ.

It appears that the bottom of the bolt is dragging on bolt catch when moving to the rear.  I can't really watch this because it only happens when the mag is in place.  I tried the action with 2 cartidges in the mag.  The first one cycled good...the last one wouldn't eject (the mag was empty)...the bolt got hung up when pulling it to the rear.

By visual inspection I can see no difference between the new rifle and old ones.  But when I measure how high the bolt catch sticks up there is a slight difference of about .020 to .030 inch. I measured this with the magazine in place. The new bolt catch sticks up further than either of the old ones.

My first reaction is to break out the dremmel and just make it shorter and see if this works.  There is still plenty of bolt catch left to actually catch the bolt.

Just wanted to run this by you guys and see what you thought.

Darkstar, you've hit the nail on the head.
The dremmel it is.  I might even polish the ramp on the carrier for good measure.  99.9% sure it's the bolt catch...it's probably the cheapest manufactured part in the kit.  I've used Eagle lowers in my other 2 rifles and helped out with assembly on 3 others with Eagle lowers....never had a prob with Eagle lowers.  The carrier/bolt works in my other 2 rifles.

Thanks for link.  Range report tonight I'm sure.

Range Report..

After 10 minutes of work with the dremmel...all was good with the world..

Took it out to the range today and put about 200 rnds through it with zero failures.

Life is good...now..what to build next.
