This is put together from my 16" Model 1 kit and YHM free float fore arm. The Bushnell 3200 scope is mounted on ARMS #22 mid quick flip rings. So the Eotech can be quickly attached for CQB duties. Yes scope works fine mounted that low.  |
| Timonator, I did something similar with my Model 1 16"...although I went with an Aimpoint on an ARMS mount. I used a Simmons Aetec 3.8x12 for my scope, also on ARMS rings...and an ARMS # 40 for my BUIS. Very quick and easy to go from a bench/distance set up to a CQB config, and iron sights should the Aimpoint fail. |

I like that a [b]LOT![/b] Thanks for posting pics [blue]Timanator[/blue]. I really enjoy seeing the individualism of the custom ARs here. You guys are a great inspiration. Whenever I need some ideas I just cruise the BIY forum for a while and get all the ideas I'll ever need [:)] |
