i would just like to tell everyone how impressed i am with the customer service of this business. i ordered a complete upper, lower, parts kit and #40 from them on monday. on monday evening i noticed that the upper i was charged $376 for was marked for $355. i sent them an e-mail in referency to this and they got with me today telling me that i had a $21 credit. their customer service was wonderful both on line and on the phone. they stole a sale from another company that didn't answer their phone and could not return messages. just a heads up for anyone wanting to build a rra product. i built mine for less than i could a j&t kit!

I have been dealing with Robert since they were RBPrecision and have to agree. Thay are some of the best people to with and appreciate repeat business and volume purchases. And they have the stuff they say they do and you get it faster (days not weeks) than from some of the people with really thick catologs. ANd they know the business. Buy from them with confidence.

My experience with Sableco was a nightmare. I ended up having to call VISA to get a  credit issued to my card. Glad to hear your experience was better than mine.

hello all, 1st post, however I've been lurking the past 2 months learning all I can...this is a great site, you all should be proud.
I have 2 questions: sambo said since they were rbprecision...are they the same company??? I sent email to both...rb has replied, I have not heard from any others on a quote.
the other question, twostepct, how did you build cheaper than j&t's kit price? I'm trying to figure my best deal for my first ar project. thanks to all here, I have learned a great deal about this addicting sport....warning, you all are in my law suit for contributing to this addiction that has a hold on me....not too much dif. than drugs or alcohol...huh? just funning about lawsuit. Indy 1500 show is in 2 weeks, is that a good place to pickup what I need or is it best to order and have things shipped....tax...shipping???
thanks all

I am in NO way affiliated with Sableco, I left there in June of last year, I was sales manager for 7 months, we just had different visions. We have really been pushing RRA's fine equipment on EBAY for the past 6 months and have over 1500 feedbacks with zero negatives, tough to do on the ole 'BAY. Over 500 of our feedbacks come from returning customers.

Sambo...thank you....

Signal I am sorry to hear you had to go to the point of calling visa. As a side note we NEVER charge a card till the item ships.

If you don't have a stripped lower yet you can probably find one there for about the same as ordering one by the time you pay for the transfer.  I usually see RRA and have seen Stinger at the last couple.  IIRC J&T, Model 1, and M&A are all at the shows if you want to look them over and compare.  6% tax on $450 is $27, so you might be better off ordering the kit, depending on what the shipping works out to.

Rbprecision: thanks for clarification and "hats off" for your prompt email response, you are the "only" one out of 5 email inquires that has answered. thank you. I do remember :)

Mike_L, thanks too, yes shipping might be a few $$ cheaper, but trying to have patience so I'll wait and see whats at the show...can always order after the show... have you purchased a "kit" from any mentioned? I see you live in Indy also...me, about 20 miles west of 465. Not too many ar 15 gun shops around here as I can tell...but I'm rather new at this.

I actually live west of Indy, not quite as far out as you though.  Plainfield Shooting Supply has maybe a half-dozen ARs on the rack, and can probably order anything you wanted.  His wife is a National-level shooter in IPSC 3-gun and uses an AR, but he dosn't seem to be too up to date on them.  Drop over to the Hometown forum.  There was a thread on gun shops there a while back.

I've not purchased any of the kits, although I did buy a Ciener kit and an ambi. charging handle latch from either Model 1 or M&A.  I wanted a midlength with 1/8 or 1/7 twist so I ended up having PSS order me a RRA with the 1/8 stainless barrel and now I'm waiting on a CavArms MkII lower and parts kit from the 'smith that's turning down the RRA barrel for me.

I wish the 1500 show had more "tactical" optics.  PSS doesn't have any Aimpoints or ACOGs in stock, and I've seen exactly one Compact and one full-size ACOG at the show.  There's one table there that has some of the ARMS gear, and an RRA dealer with EOTechs, but for the most part all you'll find are the "standard" parts.
