anybody have any issues with the eagle lowers.mine went together ok but the front pivot detent and plunger doesn't match up.the pin wont push in all the way and the detent kinda wants to make the pin turn like the hole is drilled lookin up a bit if that makes any sense.it's not a big deal i was plannin on usin the front pivot with the sling swivel made on,so that'll fix it.but anyone else have this trouble?

I've got an Eagle Arms lower and haven't had any problems with it.  Not real sure if I'm understanding the problem.

I've just finished installing the pivot detent in mine, and had the same problem.I clipped a couple rings off one end of the spring and that allowed it to go down far enough to slide the pivot pin in.I'm working on my first time AR assembly and am having a few other problems though. Some of the other parts that came in the kit are not fitting. The lower is an RRA and the Upper is a Model 1 kit.I had to file a little on the take down pin tang so it fits into the lower receiver and allows the pin holes to line up.Now,I find that the selector detent is larger than the hole drilled for it.Assuming the selector detent is the proper diameter, should I go ahead and drill the hole larger?I'd assumed RRA would have drilled the correct size holes,so is it the wrong size detent? Also,is it normal to have these problems putting an AR together? From all I've read on all the forums and info pages,it is supposed to be such a simple job of assembling one of these. Thanks for any help.

clean out the holes with an appropriatly size drill bit to remeve any metal burrs/ shavings leftover from manufacture.

It's not unusual to have to trim a spring a little bit, I've seen that mentioned quite a bit on these boards.

I had a Model 1 kit and the selector detent was to large. I measured it and it was bigger than any other of the others I had in my spare parts. There have been a couple of other post aboput selector detents being to big to fit. If there is no trash in the hole in the lower measure the detent dimensions for correctness.
