I was reading the other day about how to make your own gapper. All you need is a hot glue gun and a scerw driver. Fill the gap all the way to the top and let dry. Make sure it gule is flush with the top. Remove the hand grip and pull out the hot glue gapper. If you look at the bottem or the gule gapper it is a lot smoother. Turn it over and reinstall the hand grip. Cost nothing (if you have the glue and gun)If you try and use regular glue it makes a mess.

Another old trick is to put one of those compressable foam ear plugs in the gap, easy to remove if you decide you don't want it.

I tried that and its too small. If you cut the ear plug it might work.
