IIRC, 300 Fireball (aka 300-221is the other name for the 300 Whisper (developed by JD Jones, hence a prapriatory round). Last I knew, JD Jones sold ammo and so did Corbon. Yes, both will be expensive. Anything can be "made". Kurt of Kurts Kustom does the 300 Fireball and so does AR15barrels.com. Hopr that helps.

Olympic has barrels too. Check out Quarterbore's page as it has a lot of info. http://www.quarterbore.com/300whisper/index.html

I don't think they list it on the website, unless I missed it. Call around and get estimates if one is looking. Their turn around time wasn't that good for "different cal". I had a bad expeirance, but that's a whole diff. story.

300 Whisper 30 KKF(Kurts) 30/221 300 Fireball the best price I have seen is model 1 sales, I am having a second upper built right now from Kurt's. I love this round.

Corbon sells 300 Whisper ammo on their website. Supersonic and subsonic... Less than $20/box for 20rds.

Corbon.com sells the loaded ammo for the 300 wisper, go to the website and then, store, then self defense ammo , then 300 wisper. I can get you a complete upper with the bolt and bolt carrier. I have on and it is a very accurate weapon and depending on the load it can be very easy to reload your own ammo, please do not throw your brass away since it is a custom chamber brass and I will buy all you have if you do not want the brass.
