I am thinking of putting together my second Ar , this one will be a lightweight 16 inch carbine set up for night use, however i cant decide if i should go with a regular A2 stock or go with a CAR stock i like them both ( i do not want the m4 stock) How much heavier is the A2 stock over the CAR stock? How much weight will i cut out if i go with the CAR stock? The rifle will have a lightweight barrel up front, no scopes, just Meprolight tritium sights , a laser and maybe a flashlight.
I have never handled a CAR stock , How heavy are these things?

Thanks, s2
