i would like to replace the
original stock on a sp1, with
the new collapsable stock i purchased.
please tell me where to begin.

I'd begin on the homepage, lower left, where it says "Books & Manuals", pick "[b]Assembly[/b]".
Scroll to the bottom, where you'll see this picture:

just be carfull of the take down spring when your putting it back togther and dont bend it. trust me on this one. Ronald
