Ok, I know everyone has different opinions about ASA, but I need some help. I have a standard post ban CAR with a Wilson NM Heavy barrel. I need some ideas on how to set it up. It's my 1st AR and it functions flawlessly. I wnat a general rifle that can do almost everything with in reason. And no I can't afford an ACOG or Trijicon....

Thanks,

Ron

Not to be any sort of smartass, but you said the key words... 'it functions flawlessly'... It doesn't need a thing but magazines, lots of ammo, and you behind the trigger to be a general purpose rifle.

Not being able to afford an ACOG right now means you'll become proficient with the irons, something too many neglect... When the time and money are right, an ACOG is an amazing scope, and you'll love it...

A .22 conversion unit is a great addition, lots of practice without breaking the bank...

After you've shot your ASA for a time you may decide that a lightweight chromelined barrel would be a worthwhile upgrade also...
