Ive seen pictures of these things. I thought they looked pretty good actually and I was just lookin for some opinions on them etc.

Heres a hint I HATE MICULEK brakes. So do the cav comps actually look better.

I have a CAV-Comp on my 14.5" CAV-15 to make it legal.

The quality is excellent. Looks a lot like an A2 flash hider. Works great!

I have one on a CAR15. Been swapping it off and on with a A2 flashider on a preban before I mount it on a postban. I like it. I bought mine new off ebay for $19 shipped.

They look good, but better than that, the Cav Comp works very well, keeping the muzzle from rising. I have three, and am getting ready to purchase another.

Hey guys

What's the noise level like with the cav comps? They have to be better than the Mini Y that my friends Bushy has.

I'm not noise sensitive like the rest, but the reason why I have a Cav Comp (or a Wilson Brake, since they are similar) on my ARs is because I wanted something which looked prebanish, protected the crown, and didn't throw gases back in my face.

Of course, it will be quieter than a Mini Y or Y-comp. Put one on in confidence.

I don't notice any more noise from the Cav Comp than from a regular flash hider. The Cav is not nearly as loud as my Mini Y.

Agree. With ear plugs, the bang was no louder with the Cav Comp than my other AR's with A2 flash hiders. I shot them all the same day, with a variety of ammo. Did not notice a difference with the Cav Comp.
