Looking for some pros/cons of some trigger upgrades:

Accuracy Speaks trigger and spring system

JP Enterprises trigger and hammer

JARD

RRA 2-stage

I'm building up what I hope to be a competition rifle.  Looking for the best setup for competing.

Accuracy Speaks trigger and spring system

No J-pin to keep hammer pin from walking. (Just read this on another thread here yesterday.)

JP Enterprises trigger and hammer

Pro:
Adjustable for overtravel and sear engagement.
Weight adjustable by changing springs.

Con:
Has set screws.

JARD

Pro:
Adjustable to lower pull than the others.

Con:
Lots of set screws.

RRA 2-stage

Pro:
No set screws.
Cheaper than the others.

Con:
Not adjustable.

You didn't indicate what sort of competition you're planning on shooting.  Conventional wisdom is that the 2-stage is the best for CMP/Highpower shooting and single-stage is best for 3-gun/action shooting.  But I'm sure you can find somebody that says their 2-stage works great for 3-gun and somebody else that says their single-stage works great for precision.

I have a JP and like it.  Not sure I can say it's $120 better than the $65 trigger job my 'smith did on another AR though.  I haven't shot any ARs with a 2-stage, but I might have to get an RRA in the next build to try one out.

Jewell - hands down the best, but also he most expensive. Very adjustable, like from single stage to 2-stage.

Kreiger - nice but a BITCH to install and expensive.

JP - single stage, really need to buy the lo mass hammer to get the most out of it which kicks it into the pricey range as well. Have on on a 3-gun carbine -its okay but I don't get all the hype.

Bushmaster - yes, they make a DCM trigger.  2 stage, adjustable, cheap (relatively speaking)
I shoot one of these on my 'space gun' for highpower and I have no complaints.  The Jewell on my service rifle is more adjustable, but its hard to tell the difference... except in your wallet.

I have 2 ar15's.  They both have the jp w/ speed hammer.

No complaints, and everyon who shoots it loves it.

My AR10 has the armalite 2-stage match.

It's ok.

I just installed a RRA NM two stage and found it to be the simplest and best trigger I've ever seen.

In my own experience (using 2-stage triggers), KAC trigger best hands down - for both my semi's and my M16.  You just got to try it and you will understand.  I've tried almost all the other 2-stages.

My .02

Edited to add the caveat - "If you got the $$$ to afford it".  With my parts gun, on the cheap, I probably will just get a RRA trigger.  But if you are going to go for it, match grade, go for it and pony up - you will not have regrets.  Once you experience the best of anything, something less will always make you sigh and wish you had gone for it.

KAC trigger is incredible.  I will never put another trigger in my AR.

In the JP Enterprises trigger, the set screws are quite snug.  I add a tiny drop of service removable (purple) Lock-tite with a toothpick, where the screw threads enter the trigger after adjustment.  They just do not come loose.
