I ordered an Eagle Arms stripped lower from Quantico today. I went with with EA instead of RRA simply because the EA is advertised as Milspec. RRA may be the same, but that was my choice. If it is Milspec it must be good.

Now, moving on to J&T for their kits. If I read this right, the 16" CAR kit is $449 and will come with everything ready to add to a stripped lower reciever. Looking at the 16" Expedition kit, it is $489 but is kind of vague about whether or not it would have everything to fit on a stripped lower like the CAR kit. I know a call to J&T will straighten this out, but is anyone familiar with either of these kits? Besides weight, are there any other differences between CAR & Expedition?

I have got this figured out and I know guys have been doing this for years with tools. This is going to be a birthday present for.....MY WIFE!!!!!!! YEAH!!!! My boys and I have this all figured out now, and this is how I can justify another gun. We promised to take care of it, clean it, feed it, and take it out for exercise. She wont have to worry about any of it. She says she doesnt want this for her birthday, but I think she is just confused. She will be ok in the long run.

Cheers,
Jim

first RRA is milspec but that doesnt matter
i built up a cav 15 with the 16" car kit from J&T and went toghther great no problems. if the  Expedition is sold as a "kit" and not just a upper then it should be a complete kit that you would need.
stick with J&T they have great comuster servces
