What different needs to be done when installing the KAC FF RAS and its barrel nut Vs a regular barrel install?

I would like to know also. The Carbine FF RAS I purchased didn't inlude instructions.

Besides removing the flash hider, the fun part is that you have to remove the front sight tower so that you can remove the barrel nut.  Make it easy for yourself and leave the gas tube attached to the front sight.  Otherwise, the torque values are the same.  The screw collar goes first then the RAS barrel nut.  Use some moly grease.  Torque it to 30 lbs and loosen it three times.  After the third time check the alignment of the hole for the gas tube.  If it is not lined up properly, you can torque it up to 80 lbs to get it lined up.  It has rarely taken this much to get the holes lined up.  Once that is done you put in the alignment pins at the 9 and 3 o'clock positions.  Then you slip on the RAS and hand tighten it with the collar.  Reinstall the front sight and flash hider.
