I have been looking at purchasing a complete upper or complete kit. I like the rifles on model1sales.com Are their barrels chrome lined or just chrome moly steel? Where can I get a kit with a chrome lined 16" barrel? Also, how is Model1Sales to deal with? Thanks in advance. Mike |
| Model 1 catalog indicates chrome-moly or stainless steel. I haven't bought anything from them, but I've inquired and got a fast response from them via email. You will find more enthusiastic support here for M&A Parts, and particularly J&T. I bought a J&T kit and am extremely happy with it. They indicate chrome lined barrels are a possible option. |

| I have 2 kits from M1 and both barrels are good shooters, less than an inch at 100 yds. I just bought a chrome lined barrel from www.sherluk.com. They also have kits that you can upgrade with a chrome lined barrel for an extra $50. They told me they get their chrome lined barrels from Wilson Arms, the same place bushmaster gets theirs. Appreciate anyone's feedback if what I've been told is not correct. Check it out... |
