I remember seeing an 80% lower with the front pivot pin hole drilled. I can't seem to find it again. Anyone know what who makes it? Also, is anyone making Kalifornia legal single shot 80% lowers?

I have never seen an 80% lower with the front pivot hole pre-drilled, but in the mujahadeen AR-15 project the guy who built it said the hole was there. He used an NOC/Tannery Shop lower, so I assume that that hole was piloted on earlier versions. I have finished a few NOC lowers and none I had were piloted.  If you look closely at the casting you can see where the hole once was.

The only way I could figure to locate the hole was to measure from the mag catch hole. you can't measure down from the top plane because the top plane on the lowers has extra material.

if anyone has another method for locating the hole and all other holes I would apreciate hearing the method.

That was one of the first Tannery Shop 80% casting. They no longer have that feature. It sure made it easy to locate the rest of the holes.
