Uppers are just a little more problematic than lowers. You [blue]should[/blue] have the receiver block at a minimum to put it together with. I assume you're talking about buying a ready to install AR-15 barrel. If you can do a lower it's just one little step further to do an upper. |

Yea i was thinking the same thing on the reciever block. The parts i was looking at were a barrel freefloating handguard (aluminum tube type) and a flip up sight that is part of a front block. markm: how did you even find this post i thought the search would only go back 30 days its been months. just because i want to build an upper doesnt mean its going to be illegal. i do take pride in being able to do things myself. you cant always buy what you want or what fits your specific needs. |
