That has been answered before. But without the search button....![]() I was talking to a friend who is waiting for his FFL to arrive and will be starting gunsmithing school in Jan. He was told "you" are allowed to build only ONE receiver per lifetime. I wasn't sure if he asked the ATF or the college staff. So now he is looking to maybe getting a manufacturing license as well. I seem to remember years ago it was common to think the "one-per-life" was an accurate statement. But with all the 80% receivers on the market, has this changed and someone misinformed him? Does it apply to FFL holders only, because they would/could sell them??? Like I said, this has probably been covered, but it's a little difficult right now to go looking in the archives for the answer. Will someone please shed some light on this for me? Thanks. |
