Looking for opinions on handgrips other than the A2 model.

Looked at the PSG-1 copy at a show yesterday. Didn't feel right to me.

Looking at the Ergo grip and the Sierra Precision SPR.

Good question!! one of my AR buddies at work had a one-on-one tacticle lesson two weeks ago and after 350 rds he had a blister on his "ring" finger from the A2 grip. I've ordered an A1 and an Ergo for him to try out.

This is what I have on my AR.  If you like revolver type grip then this is the grip to go.  Only complaint is its too short for me.  I might give ERgo a try soon.

I replaced the original grip years ago with a Hogue grip .Much better . Then I replaced that with the Ergo Grip as it is more like a 1911 grip and moves your finger back where it belongs .

The Sierra grip is the best I have found.  I tried the A2, the Ergo right hand standard and the SPR.  I have long skinny fingers and only the SPR places my trigger finger in the right spot.  Well worth the money, but you might have to do what I did which was buy one of each and then sell the "losers" in the EE here on ar15.com.  The net cost was less than 10 bucks to get the grip that fit my hand the best.

Who sells the Sierra grip?  I don't think I've seen that one before.

Has anyone tried a Duck Bill?  Looks like it might save the fingers.  Comments?

 Thanks

I've used the Duckbill, love it. Changed out all of my pistol grips to them. CDNN had a special on them $10.00.

Duckbills are now $7.99 at CDNN...

I'm gonna get an ergo grip, though. I was really impressed at the last gun show, but saw it at the end when I was broke.

The ZM looks nice. I believe it is in the 1911 style and angle.

I've thought about it, but the Pearce is a good price and allows you to use any 1911 type grip. Molded, wood, etc.

The inventor of the Duckbill is a firearms instructor here in Alabama. The duckbill is great, and it is the only product endorsed by Clint Smith of Thunder Ranch and noted instructor Jim Crews also recommends them.

I installed an Ergo grip and a Gapper, (sold by the same people that make the Ergo grip). I like both, I have a medium size hand and it works for me. The Gapper thingie is kind of cool, it fills that gap between the hand grip and the trigger guard.
