Hi.  I installed a new Jewell two-stage trigger on my Bushmaster lower this weekend and I'm making adjustments right now.  I can't figure out how to increase first stage take-up.  It almost feels like a single stage trigger at this point.  If anyone has made this adjustment, please let me know what you did.  Thanks!

Can't help you, but I'd like to know where you got it?  I'm buying one in the morning and could use a good price!

I got mine from Fulton Armory on 9/11 ( they had a 30% off all parts special).  For $139.99 how could I not by one?  It's very easy to install except for the *^&%($%# retaining spring.  Now I'm trying to do fine tuning.  Try going to Google and do a search on Jewell trigger.  I think someone is selling them for $170.  Also, some guy on eBay is selling a "slightly used" one.  Bidding is at $120, last I looked.  Good luck.

Thanks, Jonnie, those are the ones I used to do the installation.  They're quite good except for the adjustments.  For example, they don't really address the interaction of the second stage pull and the sear disengagement.  I guess it's some trial & error and what feels best to the shooter.
