I recently built a Model 1 Varmiter kit on Oly lower. After 500 rounds I am sure I need to change the trigger. I am not a gunsmith by any means. I am looking for suggestions that require the least amount of honing and fitting.
Any ideas

BEST - Knight's Armament 2 Stage.

NICE - RRA and Armalite 2 Stage.

TO APPEASE THE WHINERS - Jewel

Semper-Fi Do or Die, 03 out!!

I concur!  The KAC two stage is the best one I have tried so far.  As for a second choice, I'll take the RRA over a Jewel anytime.

Okay guys, I'll bite.

Why do you not like the Jewell trigger and prefer the others over it?

I've never used any of these triggers but have been wanting a two-stage in my rifle.

My law partner's AR went TU at Thunder Ranch last week.  Jewel trigger was the culprit.

I have a J&G in mine, seems to work fine and has done so for thousands of rounds.

I've got 2 Bushmasters with the Compass Lake triggers in them . Never had a problem or have to have them readjusted . But saying all that , I've just installed a Rock River 2 stage in a friends new Bushmaster . THE RR IS THE ONE TO GET !Took a whopping 8 min to do the job ! I like the fact that it uses stock springs . The CL trigger has a special safety , disconnect and special springs only available from Bushmaster { I have spare parts for both weapons } . A little moly-slide & you'll love the Rock River !

IMHO
