About to purchase this M300 with KE1F head, seller says it is the 300 lumen LED model but I just want to make sure.  Anyone know?

Not a Surefire expert, but the ke1f heads I see on a google search are all 300lu.

Thanks, yea i Finally got a little time inbetween meetings and searched. Seems its a 300 lumen LED module but the light itself might be a M300B with the KE1F "upgrade" vs the M300C I was looking for. Anyone know if there are any other differences between an M300B with this KE1F head and a M300C?

No practical difference. That LaRue mount is a solid upgrade for the Mini Scout.

The only difference between the B and C models is the head. The B ships with the KE1A. C ships with KE1F.

At some point they also started putting an insert in the rear of the bodies, but it's not specific to the C model, and doesn't change anything other than some of the really old UE socketed tailcaps won't fit.

thanks for the feedback guys. I have a X300U-B on the rifle now. Although its more lumens then the M300C, would the KE1F head on the mini scout give better throw?

I have both a B and a C.  The C outputs more brightness.  My B has a more focused hot spot with less bright spill.
