Dual purpose, mostly off the AR though for EDC. Is the P2X Fury the perfect dual output light for $130? Needs to be at least 500 lumens for the high output. The pattern seems to be really clean from the vids I've seen. Must be American made too.

I have a couple variations, and like them all. They're really good lights.

The one you mention is on my main AR with a LaRue QD so I can use it as a flashlight.

The only problem is double tapping it to get the bright light, but I got used to it pretty quick.

My other one is a twist base, P2ZX maybe?  I wouldn't want to mount it, since twisting may be awkward.

So the P2X has a push on / push off tail cap, not a twist?

My favorite EDC light is my P2X Fury. I personally wouldn't run dual output for a weapon light though unless you are talking white light/IR

The new P2X is clicky tailcap.  I have three.  One on each AR.  I used to have 'em on ARs when they were twist for constant on.  Clicky is much better.

I only use single output for mounted lights.

I think the absolute best handheld is the G2X dual output.  15/320 and the plastic body is not as hard on your teeth as knurled hard anodized aluminum.

Been carrying a P2X Fury Defender daily since the release (few years) it's a great light. Ran mine on 17670 rechargeable battery's till I picked up a custom body to run 18650's. I'm a firefighter/medic so I count on my gear & it see some rough use at times without issue.
