About a week ago I ordered a new TLR-1 HL. This is the new 800 lumen light. Not here yet.
Apparently, I'm impatient. So today I ordered a Surefire M600 ultra. It may be a better fit for my rifle. I do run a VFG. I'm wondering if a pressure switch would be a good way to go. I have heard they can be unreliable. And I've heard that they are good to go. As you can tell, weapon lights are new to me. But they seem like a good idea. Should I get a pressure switch or just run the clicker? BTW, anybody ever paint their lights? Thanks guys. |
| Something to consider, Surefire does have a tailcap that has a push button AND a plug for a tape switch. Just in case the cord gets damaged. My preference would be a switch with pressure pad AND a button for constant on. That way you get the best of both worlds and a backup if the remote switch fails. |

Also, the newest surefire pressure pad has a button built into it for on/off as well as temporary. The new pressure pad is way better than the old tape switch. If that's the rail grabber version yeah it's old news and works but must be used at 12 o'clock which might be a problem in some applications. |

You need the new DS07...tape switch and clicky tail cap for the Scout series. http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j214/silentmark73/9C357941-F0FF-4BCD-B6E0-4F30E06528A9_zpsdfxrogb7.jpg Does this work on the m300 and m600 series? I didn't think it did? |
