| Has anyone mounted a polymer light (Streamlight Polytact in this case) to one of the A2 FSB post mounts? Wondering if the heat will be significant enough to damage the light. Looking for a side mounted light and already have a Polytac laying around. |

I use Surefire G2 Nitrolons mounted to the A2 front sight in a polymer Elzetta mount. It is a slick, inexpensive, ambidextrous setup. The mount will insulate your flashlight from the heat, and even the Marines couldn't melt the Elzetta mount on their full auto M4s. Highly recommended.
